CHITIN

Is a polysaccharide that gives structure to molecules in animals and fungi. It is that crunch sound that is made when you step on a bug.

It also sounds a lot like a four letter word that I can't say while I'm on a BYU campus. But that is only if you pronounce it wrong. Phonetically it sounds like KITE-IN.

I prefer the first. It helps me remember what Chitin is.
