Oh you missed me :)

Hello Blogger world.  

I know that you have missed me… but I have been very busy catching up on Bachelorette and Master Chef.  

Also a lot of other things.  So here are 10 things that have happened since Spring Break, in no particular order.  

10. Wade got a white coat! Pretty much it means he is "qualified" to work on the clinic floor.  Also, that he is halfway done with dental school.  Everyone is happy about that! We were lucky to have Wade's dad come out and his Aunt, Uncle and cousins from St. Louis come and show their support for Wade.  WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR EVERYONES SUPPORT!

9.  Wade also took the first half of Dental Boards.  He studied his brainicles out. We will find out mid-August if he passed, so you know send good vibes toward Omaha!

8. I finished tutoring for the school year.  I have loved working with my students in North Omaha and (hopefully) helping them become better students and contributors to society.  I am also EXCITED for school to start up again in September, so tutoring starts again.

7. Randomly,  I drove across Nebraska and Wyoming to visit my family in Utah.  It was so AWESOME to be there for Gabe's baptism.  Also, when did Gabe become not.a.baby?? He is this big kid that takes care of Porter. He is hilarious and so fun to hang out with.  Good choice getting baptized GABE!

6. Oh ya we are having a baby! I am so happy about it. I haven't been sick which is great although I have been tired.  Kind of nice that Porter still takes naps because then I can sleep when he sleeps (you know that thing, every mom tells new moms.)  Other than that its been good.  Obviously, Porter and this baby will be close in age- I've heard it from practically every person ever.  But that is how we wanted it!  so...YOLO.

5.  On a completely different note- I had cancers.  I had a nasty mole on my arm, so I had it cut out and turns out it had irregular cells.  My doctor had me come back in and took out a big chunk of my arm.  It was pretty cool to watch.  Now I have this sweet scar on my arm- so the next time you see me take a gander at it! 

Oh ya.  My biopsy came back from the round two skin removal and I had normal boarders! so no more cancers! YAY!

4. On a similar note to 5- our basement flooded.  Like 12 gallons of water, 5 days of industrial fan drying flooded.  We are still cleaning and recovering from the flood of 2014. Moral of the story- don't let little kids use your outside water faucet unsupervised :)

3.  We celebrated my 24 birthday! YAY! We saw the new Planet of the Apes movie and ate sushi! Porter loved the calamari… he has expensive taste.  or weird taste. You choose.

2. We are celebrating Porter's 1st birthday next week! What-the? When did he get so big?

I taught him how to "roar" and this is what it looks like.  He makes me so proud. 

1. Nic gets home in less than a month! I am so excited to see him and have him meet Porter!  Porter and I fly to Salt Lake and arrive at 3:10 on August 11.  Nic's flight arrives at 4:00 on August 11.   Wish us luck that nothing is delayed that day! Unless its Nic's flight. that can be delayed.  (my Mom would wig. So how about no flights are delayed :) ) 

In one of Nic's emails he said that he was told that his companions and himself looked like these three guys.  But we were suppose to guess which one he looked like… so I made these little side-by-side comparison to help out.  Which one do you think he looks the most like?  I think JT with the ramen noodle hair.
