Nic got home.
Mine and Port's flight was 40 minutes earlier than Nic's so we stayed back and met him at the gate. This was pretty much the conversation:
Nic: Where is everybody?
Kallie: Uh we are everybody…?
Then Nic was really confused and I was also kind of flustered so I was like, "Uh, well lets take a selfie." Then took the pic and walked away. It was pretty funny. I am glad Nic-er is home. Now I just need him to come visit NE.
We swam a lot.
We sat in the sun a lot.
Porter pointing at my belly. Little did he know that it was a baby sister.
We went to the mountains a lot.
And ran around naked a lot. (well, Porter and Baer.)
I freaking love this picture because of what happened shortly before it was taken…
Kind of an unspoken rule in the Johnson household is that Sunday School is Home Schooled. When anyone would come home from college, instead of going to Sunday School, all of the older (AKA young mens/young woman age) Johnson Children would come back to the house and eat chips and dip.
This unspoken rule continued the first Sunday Nic was home from his mission. Nic and myself were walking out of the church when we ran into Joe and Jane. They must have been able to sense that we were leaving- because they just walked out of church with us.
Nic, feeling slightly guilty that we had ditched out of church had everyone sit down and read a scripture or two before eating our chips and dip.
I mean, look at Jane's face. And Joe on the Ipad. Its just so classic.
Trying to part Gabe's fro.
These two. I mean really. They just love each other.
We also got to see Marcelo Nunes, one of Wade's favorite mission companions. These two served together FOREVER. They haven't seen each other in what… 4.5 years?
It was so good to meet him.
It was so good to be in UT.
Thank you parentals for taking care of Wade, Porter and me.
